I had a good night in Birmingham on Friday. I worked a really cool venue there called the Workplay Theatre. I did an acoustic opener for Whiskey Falls. The highlight of the trip actually happened while sitting at Arby’s with my manager eating a French dip sandwich. Pete Fisher from the Grand Ole Opry called and asked me to play the Opry on Dec. 15th. This will be my first time on the Opry, and it will be extra special since it is at the Ryman during the winter months. I think I’ll head to Birmingham at least once a month and sit at that Arby’s to see what good news comes in. Come and see me if you can. We may slip out through the alley and have a beer at Tootsies like they used to.
Sunday night, we took our daughter Presley to Elmo Makes Music at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. This was her second concert there. We probably jumped the gun a little on the first one. She was only eight months old the first time we took her to Sesame Street Live and she got tired pretty quick. A little over zealous first time parents I guess, but money well spent. We had a big time at this one. She loved it, and we loved watching her love it. As you would imagine, I get more enjoyment and laughs from watching her than anything else I do.

I sooo wanted to be there had tickets and all but you know how doctors are when they we are admitting you they mean it.I got home Friday just too weak to travel or I would be there with tears in my eyes giving the opry clap. Juanita is going to call me from the show and let me listen. You are getting there my friend. There will come a day real soon when your name will be at the top of the list. I have a list of nurses that want to see you when you come to Phoenix. I tell everyone about vibe and Lance Miller. So the nurses at the hospital are now taking vibe and listening to Lance Miller. Just doing my job as your fan. You keep singing and I will keep telling everyone. Take care and God bless you tonight and thru the holidays. that is going to be great!!! i have the best friends ever. i cant afford to fly out to america, but for christmas, all my friends are chipping in and trying to get me on a flight... nothings deffinate, but i have the most awesome friends...
even if i'm not there, i'll be listening online....isnt george jones there then too?

Wow, I am so happy and excited for you !!!! It's been a while since I've been able to see you, but beleive me the good Lord willing I will be at the Opry on Dec. 15th. I just wish I would be able to get a big ole hug from you that night, but I realize that probably won't be possible....lol.
